Offset ignited a wave of backlash over the weekend after posting and quickly deleting a message implying paternity of Cardi B’s newborn son with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
According to screenshots circulating online, the Migos rapper, born Kiari Cephus, took to his Instagram Stories writing, “My kid lol,” shortly after news broke that Cardi had given birth to her baby boy with Diggs. The post was removed within minutes — but not before fans captured it.
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, fired back on X (formerly Twitter), accusing her estranged husband of ongoing harassment. In a series of now-deleted tweets, the rapper said the situation has left her fearing for her safety.
“Y’all think it’s funny and it’s not,” she wrote. “It’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life [is] in danger… it’s all fun and games until it’s too late.”

She continued, “MFs do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload… LEAVE ME TF ALONE.”
Cardi later addressed the situation on X Spaces, saying the deleted post was just the latest in a long pattern of troubling behavior.
“I’m really tired of getting harassed,” she said. “When I get harassed privately and I ignore it, that’s when I start getting harassed publicly. I have every single receipt. If you wanna keep sending blogs to harass me — like, I can’t take it anymore.”
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time last August after nearly seven years of marriage. The former couple, both 33, share three children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and one-year-old daughter Blossom. Offset has three other children from previous relationships.

Since their breakup, Cardi has publicly accused Offset of being an absentee father and claimed she covers most of the six-figure annual costs of raising their children.
Earlier this month, the Grammy winner welcomed her first child with Diggs, 31, whom she began dating publicly in May. After the pair went Instagram official, Offset appeared to take a jab at their relationship, calling it a “good roll out n PR” move for Cardi’s album. He also posted a GIF of a man tossing a football with the caption “Today I pass,” prompting Diggs to respond with a black-and-white photo of himself making a catch.
Offset has not commented on his deleted message — but the fallout continues to spread online as fans slam the rapper for crossing a line.
