Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty and his fiancée Holly Ramsay were photographed putting on a united front over the weekend as tensions within Peaty’s family continue to rise ahead of the couple’s winter wedding.
Despite the drama, the pair appeared relaxed and cheerful during a stroll through Wandsworth, South London, accompanied by Holly’s younger siblings, Oscar, 5, and Jesse James, 2. Holly held Oscar’s hand while Peaty pushed little Jesse in a stroller, the group bundled up against the chilly weather.
While Holly spent time with her siblings, her father — celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay — was spotted elsewhere in Wandsworth sharing a quiet breakfast with his eldest daughter, Megan. The proud dad was photographed giving her a tender kiss on the forehead as they left Toast Rack café on Sunday.
The outing comes amid a deepening family conflict that has overshadowed wedding preparations. Peaty, 29, has reportedly uninvited nearly his entire family from the ceremony — except for his sister — following ongoing tensions involving his mother, Caroline, and other relatives.
The rift escalated after Peaty’s aunt Louise publicly criticized Holly, calling her “divisive and hurtful,” following Caroline’s exclusion from Holly’s hen weekend at Soho Farmhouse. Caroline later took to Instagram to praise Louise as her “protector,” sharing an emotional message about sisterhood and thanking her for support during a “difficult time.”
In another twist, Holly reportedly contacted police while Peaty was on his stag trip in Budapest, fearing he could face aggression from his brother upon returning to the UK. A source close to the couple says the situation has left both families distressed.
“This feud is heartbreaking from both sides,” the insider said. “Adam feels his mother is enabling his brother’s actions instead of helping him confront his issues. Caroline must feel torn, and it’s painful for everyone. Gordon has been incredibly supportive of Holly and Adam — he’s faced similar challenges within his own family.”
Peaty’s father, Mark, previously said the feud had spiraled far beyond normal sibling disputes. “They’ve always been close… but it’s got out of hand,” he told The Sun, adding concerns over a lack of empathy for his son Jamie’s mental health struggles.
Caroline, meanwhile, says she wants peace — and hopes to mend her relationship with her son. Speaking to the Daily Mail, she delivered a heartfelt plea:
“Adam, please know I love you. You can come home and talk to me at any point. There’s nothing you’ve done that I wouldn’t forgive. I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage. I just want this to end.”
She added that she has reached “rock bottom” over the feud and fears Adam is being “pulled away” from his family as he grows closer to the tight-knit Ramsay household.
The ongoing turmoil has already had professional consequences: Peaty has reportedly cancelled a scheduled two-day event in the United States as he deals with the emotional fallout.
