Taylor Swift’s upcoming docuseries, The End of an Era, offers fans an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the superstar’s record-breaking Eras Tour — and it seems love is very much in the spotlight.
In the newly released trailer, Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift, 67, gushes over the singer’s fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
“Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness,” Andrea tells the camera during a candid sit-down interview, according to a clip shared on Instagram Thursday.
The trailer quickly cuts to Taylor, 35, beaming in a Chiefs jersey while rehearsing, followed by a snippet of a phone call between the couple.
“We basically have the same job,” Taylor jokes over speakerphone. Kelce quips back that he has teammates — and she has hers. “You’ve got Coach [Andy] Reid and I’ve got my mom,” Taylor adds, prompting both to burst into laughter.

Fans also get glimpses of Swift supporting Kelce from the stands during one of his games, while he is shown watching her perform live. The pair even sneak a few affectionate kisses backstage, highlighting the playful and tender moments of their relationship.
Beyond the romance, the trailer delves into Swift’s reflections on her monumental tour. “There’s something very special about that,” she says, referring to the bond she created with fans through the shows. She also reveals that she conceived the Eras Tour two years before it launched in 2023, aiming to give fans “something they did not expect.” Clips of Swift singing as a child flash across the screen as she discusses the physical and emotional demands of her performances, calling them “the biggest challenges” of her career and noting their “seismic effect” on her life.
Celebrating the docuseries release, Swift wrote on Instagram, “Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries, streams on Disney+ beginning Dec. 12.”

The announcement follows Swift’s earlier reveal of the project last month, in which she emphasized the docuseries’ focus on capturing every detail of the tour’s final moments. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives,” she wrote on Instagram.
In addition to chronicling her tour, the series spotlights her romance with Kelce, featuring intimate moments such as hugs and kisses backstage and playful rehearsals for Swift’s Eras Tour stage debut in June 2024.
Fans can catch The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the full Tortured Poets Department set, along with the first two episodes of The End of an Era, when it premieres December 12 on Disney+.
