Kristin Cavallari is setting firm boundaries when it comes to her love life — and Hollywood’s leading men didn’t make the cut.
The Laguna Beach and The Hills alum revealed on Tuesday’s episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast that she refuses to date actors, describing them as “a bunch of nerds.”
“Typically, actors are very insecure — and I think that’s why they become actors, because they’re seeking outside validation,” said Cavallari, 38. “And honestly, a lot of them can be just really cheesy.”
The Very Cavallari star shared her opinion while discussing her latest celebrity crush, It Ends With Us actor Brandon Sklenar.
“He’s so hot and he’s exactly the type of guy I want,” she gushed, before admitting, “But I think he’s in a relationship.” (Sklenar has been dating personal trainer Courtney Salviolo since 2020.)
Still, Cavallari was quick to remind listeners that Sklenar’s Hollywood status would make him off-limits.
“I would never date an actor,” she insisted. “Logistics-wise, the scheduling would be a nightmare. And he wouldn’t be able to travel to me all the time.”
It’s not the first time the reality star has joked about her dating preferences. Back in May, she said she was “manifesting” a non-famous version of Sklenar — or fellow actor Charlie Hunnam — to be her next partner.
“I want the real-world version,” she said. “Like, a normal guy who already has kids.”
Cavallari shares three children — sons Camden, 13, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 9 — with her ex-husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler.
Before her decade-long relationship with Cutler, Cavallari dated a few Hollywood names. She was linked to What I Like About You actor Nick Zano in the mid-2000s, and her best friend Justin Anderson revealed in late 2024 that she once had a steamy hookup with Expendables star Jason Statham.

Recently, Cavallari hinted at a few new connections — including a “big deal” coach and a guy she first kissed at Coachella back in 2008.
For now, though, the Uncommon James founder seems content keeping her love life actor-free.
“I’ve learned what works for me,” Cavallari said. “And dating an actor definitely doesn’t.”
