Judge Approves Fast-Track Appeal in Sean “Diddy” Combs Case

A federal judge has granted a request from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team to expedite the appeals process tied to his 50-month prison sentence, handed down after he was convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act.

Court filings obtained by TMZ indicate that oral arguments could begin as soon as April 2026, depending on whether the proposed briefing schedule holds.

Combs’ attorneys argued that accelerating the appeal is crucial due to the length of his current sentence, warning that the hip-hop mogul could complete most — or even all — of his prison term before the appeal is resolved. Under their suggested timeline, the defense would file its opening brief by December 23, the government would respond by February 20, and Combs’ team would file a reply by March 13. If accepted, the schedule would make way for arguments to commence in April.

The music executive was transferred on October 30 to FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal facility in New Jersey, where he is now serving his sentence. His legal team requested placement at Fort Dix “in order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.”

Before Combs reported to prison, former U.S. President Donald Trump publicly claimed that Combs had requested a presidential pardon, though it was never confirmed whether the request was formally submitted or seriously considered.

New Allegations Add to Mounting Controversies

The legal developments come as Combs faces yet another wave of troubling accusations — adding to the more than 50 civil lawsuits already filed against him in recent years alleging abuse, coercion, and violence.

A newly surfaced police incident report, filed on September 20 in Largo, Florida, in coordination with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, details claims by a music producer who alleges he was sexually assaulted by Combs in 2020. The account mirrors a separate civil lawsuit filed in July by the same individual.

According to the incident report, the alleged assault occurred during a visit to a warehouse housing archival clothing belonging to the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G. The producer claims Combs acted in a sexually aggressive manner while handling Biggie’s clothing and allegedly forced him into a sexual act, punctuating the moment by saying, “Rest in peace, BIG.”

The accuser further claims he believed he had been invited to a private music session, but instead was pressured to take drugs and found himself in an environment where he felt unsafe. The report states that Combs allegedly masturbated in front of him and then demanded he perform a sexual act, later laughing and throwing a soiled shirt at him.

The allegations do not end there. The report describes a second alleged assault months later, when the producer says he was summoned to Los Angeles to resolve “tension” within the project team. He claims he was restrained and again assaulted — this time while being berated and accused of being a “snitch.” He alleges he recognized Combs’ voice and shoes during the incident. According to the report, Combs did not ejaculate and left the room shortly afterward.

The producer says the incidents left him traumatized and battling depression. He claims that after coming forward, associates within the music industry attempted to discredit him and threaten legal action.

Officials in Florida confirmed that they documented the complaint on behalf of Los Angeles authorities, who are believed to be reviewing the accusations. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has not commented on the ongoing investigation. Combs’ legal team also declined to comment on the latest police report.
