$12 Million Meltdown: Hot Boy Turk Accused of Sabotaging Cash Money’s Anniversary Tour in Explosive New Lawsuit

Hot Boy Turk is facing a massive $12 million lawsuit after being accused of wrecking Cash Money Records’ 30th anniversary tour — a celebration meant to honor one of hip-hop’s most legendary crews.

According to legal documents obtained by Complex, touring company Dope Shows, Inc. claims the rapper (real name Tab Virgil Jr.) and his label YNT Empire intentionally sabotaged the tour after Turk was allegedly dropped from the lineup for refusing to accept a reduced performance fee. The company says that instead of walking away quietly, Turk retaliated by leaking internal financial information, spreading lies about the tour being unable to pay artists, and publicly smearing the organizers.

“Desperate to revive his flagging rap career, Turk is attempting to sabotage the Tour through childish and petulant antics,” Dope Shows’ attorney Jeffrey M. Movit wrote in the lawsuit. “His publicity stunts have done nothing to advance his career. Instead, he has created massive legal liability for himself.”

The lawsuit further claims that Turk’s tension with fellow Hot Boys member B.G. contributed to behind-the-scenes conflict — reportedly raising concerns for security and even involving B.G.’s probation officer. The company alleges Turk exploited that drama to stir more controversy.

Dope Shows is now seeking $7 million for defamation, $5 million for breach of contract, and is asking Turk to cover all legal costs.

Turk, however, insists he was wronged. When he was removed from the tour back in July — days before his album Joseph dropped — he claimed that he was labeled a “security risk” only after refusing what he says was an unfair pay cut.

“The same day I rejected less than what was owed, I got hit with a bogus termination notice,” he said at the time. “Instead of admitting they couldn’t pay fairly, they labeled me a threat.”

He responded with his own lawsuit against Dope Shows and Artists Agency LLC, claiming breach of contract.

The feud later exploded on stage when Birdman, during the Cash Money vs. No Limit Verzuz at ComplexCon 2025, took a direct shot at Turk:

“Shout out to Turk, you little bitch. You ain’t here but fuck you. We gonna fuck with you when we want to fuck with you. Cash Money ain’t never gonna die as long as I’m alive.”

Turk fired back on livestream.

“You can’t fuck with me when you want to fuck with me,” he said. “Cash Money gotta understand — it’s not about them. It’s about the fans.”
