Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, are reportedly keeping their distance from the Beckham family as tensions continue to simmer.
According to Us Weekly, the couple currently has “no interest” in reconciling with Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, or his siblings, Romeo and Cruz. “They’ve built their own world together and are very content in it,” an insider said. “They want to let things settle naturally rather than trying to fix something that still feels tense.”
The source added that the “huge rift” between Brooklyn and his family remains unresolved. It is unclear whether he is in contact with his younger sister, Harper Seven Beckham. “The relationships are all still strained,” the insider noted.
Speculation of a feud first surfaced earlier this year when Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in May. Rumors also swirled that Brooklyn had fallen out with his brother Romeo over Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. Reports suggested Brooklyn and Turnbull briefly dated before he met Peltz in 2019 — a claim the model strongly denied.

In a June Instagram post, Turnbull clarified that she and Brooklyn “have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point,” adding that their relationship “never went further than a school friendship at age 16.”
By July, sources told Page Six that Brooklyn had stopped responding to his family’s messages and had told them he wanted no contact.
Tension between Peltz and her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, reportedly dates back to Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. Reports claimed the actress left the reception in tears after Victoria allegedly “ruined” the couple’s first dance — an allegation a source close to Victoria denied, saying the fashion designer was “mystified” by the claims.
The couple’s decision to renew their vows in August without the Beckhams in attendance further fueled rumors of a family divide.

Despite the ongoing tension, Brooklyn recently spoke about his relationship with Peltz, telling the Daily Mail in September, “Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.”
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham appeared to extend an olive branch to her son earlier this month when she mentioned him during her speech at the London premiere of her new Netflix documentary Victoria Beckham. The three-part docuseries, which explores her career and family life, even features a brief cameo by Brooklyn and Peltz — a sign, perhaps, that reconciliation might not be entirely off the table.
