The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has expressed her fondness for New York City after a recent business trip with Prince Harry. In a video shared on her official Instagram account on Monday, October 13, Meghan offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at the couple’s visit to the Big Apple.
The Instagram Reel, set to Dinah Washington’s classic song “If I Were a Bell,” begins with a serene view of clouds from an airplane window, followed by shots of fun-shaped cookies — including a smiley face and a yellow New York City taxi. Meghan is then seen cozying up in socks during the flight, before showing a lineup of her neatly arranged heels and stylish wardrobe of dress pants and blazers.
In one lighthearted moment, Meghan pans her camera across the room to capture Prince Harry, smiling barefoot in a matching grey sweat set.

The video also shows Meghan getting ready at a vanity before attending the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala, where the couple accepted the Humanitarians of the Year Award. The Duke and Duchess, dressed in matching black outfits, are seen holding hands and sharing laughs — both on stage and backstage.

Like any true New York experience, the couple enjoyed slices of pizza, with Meghan showing several boxes of half-eaten pies in the clip. The Reel also includes scenes of Meghan and Harry preparing for the World Mental Health Day Festival, where Harry introduced the opening session titled “Thriving or Surviving: How Are Young People Doing in the Digital Age?” Meghan later took the stage to introduce a second panel, “How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Caused an International Mental Health Crisis, And How We Can Reverse It.”
Fans were quick to notice a brief appearance by Ed Sheeran, who was spotted leaving Soho House with the royal couple on Sunday, October 12. During their stay, Meghan and Harry also had lunch with tennis legend Serena Williams, and Meghan caught up with a friend at the upscale restaurant Kappo Masa.
Meghan captioned her post with affection for the city, writing: “Until the next time, NYC — thanks for the memories! You really know how to charm a gal.”
