Pop superstar Taylor Swift brought star power and sparkle to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night as she cheered on her fiancé Travis Kelce during the Kansas City Chiefs’ clash with the Detroit Lions.
Swift, 35, was spotted laughing and chatting with WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark in her private suite in Kansas City, Missouri. The pair appeared to be having a great time as broadcast cameras caught them smiling and enjoying the game.
Before kickoff, Swift greeted Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, with a warm hug. Ed sported a shirt featuring his son’s jersey number — a proud show of support for the Chiefs tight end.
The “Opalite” singer kept things casual and sporty in a black Chiefs jersey, which she paired with a playful silver manicure, completing her signature gameday glam look.
Clark, who plays for the Indiana Fever, is a self-proclaimed Swiftie and previously joined Taylor at another Chiefs game in January, where the two struck up a friendship.
Swift’s latest appearance comes shortly after the October 3 release of her twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” The album, which fans believe is filled with references to her relationship with Kelce, includes tracks like “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite,” “Eldest Daughter,” “Wi$h Li$t,” “Wood,” and “Honey.”
In her boldest lyrics yet, Swift sings in “Wood” about being “d–kmatized” by her NFL fiancé — a cheeky nod that has stirred plenty of conversation among fans and critics alike. “That’s the joy of the double entendre,” Swift recently said of her songwriting. “You can read that song for people, and it just goes right over their heads.”
In the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” released on Kelce’s birthday last week, the pop star slipped in several hidden tributes to him — from catching a football mid-song to walking into hotel room number 87, a sweet reference to Kelce’s jersey number. One scene even shows a black-and-white photo of Travis pinned to a vanity mirror while Taylor dances among showgirls.
Kelce, who turned 36 last week, reportedly celebrated his birthday alongside Swift and family members during the official release party for her latest album.
