Two Killed, 14 Injured in Alabama Shooting After Tuskegee vs. Morehouse Football Game

A night of celebration in Alabama turned deadly after a mass shooting broke out late Saturday, leaving two people dead and 14 others injured, including two children, one of whom is in critical condition.

According to Montgomery Police, gunfire erupted at around 11:30 PM as large crowds were leaving the streets following the Tuskegee University vs. Morehouse College football game.

Witnesses said the shooting began after a fight between two rival groups quickly escalated into chaos, turning into what police described as a running gun battle through the crowded area. Officers believe the two groups opened fire on each other in the middle of the crowd.

Among those killed was one woman, while two children were hit by stray bullets, with one suffering life-threatening injuries.

Police say 12 of the 14 victims remain hospitalized as of Sunday morning, and no arrests have been made so far.

Authorities have urged anyone with information or video footage of the incident to come forward as investigations continue.
