Singer Lola Young Collapses on Stage During New York Festival

British singer Lola Young collapsed while performing at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York City over the weekend.

The 24-year-old star was on stage at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday singing her hit song Conceited when the incident happened. Medics rushed to help her and carried her off stage as fans cheered in support.

Young later reassured her followers on Instagram that she was recovering.
“Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now. Thank you for all of your support,” she wrote.

The singer had already cancelled a performance on Friday at Audacy’s We Can Survive show. Her manager, Nick Shymansky, said at the time that the decision was made “due to a sensitive matter.” He added that sometimes protective steps are needed to safeguard Young’s health, noting that she has always taken her fans and career seriously.

Young has previously spoken openly about her struggles with mental health and addiction. Diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder at 17, she has admitted that touring can be challenging. “It’s been a struggle – I’ve definitely had to work on some internal healing while grappling with touring,” she told the Guardian in August.

Earlier this year, Young also revealed that medication had helped her manage ADHD, saying it had improved her daily life and happiness. She has called for equal focus on both physical and mental health.
