Actor Charlie Sheen has made a shocking confession, revealing that the Mexican cartel once refused to sell him cocaine because of the large amounts he was buying.
Speaking on Australia’s 60 Minutes with journalist Amelia Adams, the Two and a Half Men star admitted, “They did, they did,” when asked if the cartel had cut him off.
“They had never seen someone acquiring that kind of weight,” Sheen, 60, explained. “The only other people they were delivering that kind of weight to were dealers. They thought I was dealing on the side.”
Adams pressed further, asking if it was true that Sheen smoked seven-gram rocks of crack cocaine. “Well, we never took one out and put it on a scale,” Sheen replied. “But that was the amount that was cooked to get it into that form.” He even joked that he once told friends, “I’m going to need a bigger pipe.”
Looking back, Sheen admitted he was “lucky to be alive.”
The Golden Globe winner shared the story while promoting his new memoir, The Book of Sheen, where he details his long battle with addiction and his journey to sobriety. He credited his daughter Sami for helping him quit drugs and alcohol in 2017.

He recalled one painful moment when he was supposed to pick Sami up but had to ask a friend to drive because he couldn’t sober up in time. “Sam was very quiet,” Sheen wrote. “I didn’t need to be clairvoyant to know exactly what she was thinking… When will Dad ever return? I miss him.”
Sheen said realizing he was failing his children pushed him to change. The next day, after taking two Valiums and drinking three beers, he vowed never to touch drugs or alcohol again — and has stayed sober since.
Sheen shares daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with his ex-wife, actress Denise Richards. While Lola maintains a private life, Sami has been open about her struggles growing up, admitting earlier this year that the “first 13 years” of her life were “pretty bad.”
