Infinix has introduced its latest smartphone, the GT 30 Pro, into the Kenyan market, targeting mobile gaming enthusiasts. The phone is priced at Sh39,999 and comes with advanced features aimed at delivering high performance and an eye-catching design.
One of its standout features is the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design system, which includes customizable LED light panels on the back of the device. The lights respond to activities such as incoming calls, charging, and even in-game actions. The Blade White version comes with white LED panels, while the Dark Flare model offers full RGB lighting that can shift through multiple colors.
The GT 30 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also offers a 2,160Hz touch sampling rate for instant response, peak brightness of 4,500 nits for clear viewing under sunlight, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Performance and Gaming Features
The device runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes with Android 15 and Infinix’s XOS 15 interface, with the company promising two years of major updates and three years of security patches.
For gamers, the phone is equipped with the XBoost Gaming Engine, an AI-powered vapor cooling system, and physical shoulder triggers for console-like control. It can deliver up to 120 frames per second on games such as PUBG and includes a dedicated e-sports mode.
The GT 30 Pro comes with a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and reverse charging for accessories.
Buyers will receive the GT Gaming Kit, which includes a MagCase and a cooling fan for longer gaming sessions. The phone is available across Kenya until September 30 and comes with a free pair of Infinix GTBUDS3 earbuds, plus a Sh2,000 cash-back voucher after purchase.
