Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has taken time off to recover from shoulder surgery by holidaying with his girlfriend Ashlyn Castro in Sardinia, Italy.
The 22-year-old England international missed the start of the 2025/26 season after undergoing an operation to correct a long-standing shoulder problem. With no club or international duty for now, Bellingham is spending his recovery period on a luxury superyacht reportedly worth £1 million and available for hire at £25,000 a week.
Photos show Bellingham and Castro, a model and social media influencer, relaxing in the Mediterranean sun and enjoying time together. The couple have largely kept their relationship private, though Castro has been spotted at Real Madrid matches alongside Bellingham’s family. She also shared a heartfelt birthday message on his 22nd birthday, describing him as “the most thoughtful, kind-hearted, hard-working, incredible human I’ve ever met.”
Bellingham is targeting a return to action in October, though Real Madrid may delay his comeback until November to avoid any fitness risks. Castro, who is from the United States, will be hoping to watch him in action with England at the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted in her home country.
