Hailey and Justin Bieber were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner in Los Angeles on Saturday, easing months of speculation about their marriage.
The couple dined at Ysabel in West Hollywood, where Justin was photographed placing a protective hand on his wife as they entered the restaurant.
The pop star wore a navy blue bomber jacket, baggy pants and boots, while Hailey, 28, kept it chic in an all-black outfit with a lace-up top and fitted pants. She kept her makeup minimal and was later seen carrying a bottle of wine after dinner.
Last week, Hailey drew attention with her reaction to her husband’s shirtless mirror selfies on Instagram. Justin captioned the photos, “thirstrap fa u hoes.” Hailey responded with a simple “ ,” which many interpreted as showing her annoyance.
Reports earlier this year claimed Justin’s “Swag” album put a strain on their marriage.
“The intense focus and emotional toll of creating new music had put a strain on their marriage,” a source close to the couple recently told Us Weekly.
The insider added that Justin, 31, gets “completely consumed and shuts everything else out” while working in the studio. “There’s still work to be done in their marriage,” the source explained. “But they’re in a much better place.”
Despite earlier tensions, the couple has been celebrating family milestones together. On August 22, their son Jack Blues turned one.
“1 year of you my beautiful boy,” Hailey wrote on Instagram, sharing new photos of their baby. “Happy 1st Birthday Jack Blues, you are joy personified.”
