Dee Devlin, Conor McGregor’s fiancée, is voicing her unwavering support for the UFC fighter following his recent loss in a civil case involving sexual assault allegations.
Five days after a Dublin High Court jury ruled in favor of a woman accusing McGregor of assault during a 2018 encounter, Devlin reaffirmed her trust in him and their relationship.
“My man and I have created a beautiful life together,” Devlin wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post on Nov. 26.
“I love him, I trust him, and I BELIEVE HIM! Our four beautiful children, whose smiling faces and happy hearts are testimony to the man he is and who we are!”
She went on to address public scrutiny, stating,
“No one is entitled to comment on our relationship—we trust one another and love one another. Nothing or nobody will change that.”
The civil case stemmed from allegations that McGregor, 36, “brutally raped and battered” the plaintiff during an encounter in 2018 at a Dublin hotel.
During the trial, McGregor denied the accusations, testifying that their interaction was consensual.
While police investigated the claim at the time, Ireland’s Director of Public Prosecutions declined to pursue criminal charges, citing insufficient evidence.
However, the civil jury awarded the accuser over $250,000 in damages for assault.
In a statement to TMZ following the verdict, McGregor expressed disappointment with the outcome.
“The judge’s instruction and the modest award given was for assault; there was not an award for aggravated or exemplary damages,” he said.
“I am disappointed that the jury did not hear all the evidence that the DPP reviewed.”
McGregor added that he is now focused on his family and future.
Despite the controversy, Devlin’s statement highlights her commitment to their relationship and the family they’ve built, including their four children: Conor Jr., 7, Croía, 5, Rían, 3, and Mack, 11 months.
