Njambi wa Njau, a well-known presenter at Inooro TV, has officially stepped down from her position at the Royal Media Services (RMS)-owned station to embark on a new journey in the United States.
In a heartfelt post on her social media platforms, Njambi expressed her excitement about joining a media station in the US, although she did not disclose specific details about her new role.
Reflecting on her decision, Njambi shared her thoughts on change and personal growth, viewing this transition as a fresh chapter in her life.
“Life is about leaving what you think you love and trying new things. It’s about coming to a closure of the things that make you think you are okay and yet you are not,” she wrote.
Grateful for the opportunity ahead, Njambi thanked God for guiding her on this new path.
“I thank God for the new face and step of life He has given me. I thank Him for choosing me among many and blessing me. My tenure at Inooro TV has come to an end, but I thank God for the new blessing,” she shared.
Now residing in Washington, Njambi is enthusiastic about the future, noting the warm welcome she has already received from the local community.
“Watu wa diaspora tukutane kwa screens zenu,” she added, expressing her eagerness to connect with her audience.
Njambi’s journey in the media industry has not always been smooth.
In a previous interview on the Jeff Kuria Show, she recounted facing significant challenges with a former employer, where she experienced financial hardships despite initially believing she had landed her dream job.
“I could not believe it when I got the papers; I asked someone to confirm it for me,” she recalled about the initial excitement that soon turned into disappointment after she went eight months without a salary as a new mother who had recently separated from her husband.
She shared that during that difficult time, the management attempted to compensate for the lack of payment by providing meals for employees at the workplace.
