Popular radio host Wilbroda Nyaminde has offered some heartfelt advice to internet sensation Bradley Marongo, urging him to remain grounded despite his rapid rise to fame. During her show on Milele FM on September 18, Wilbroda shared her concerns about Bradley’s swift ascent to popularity and the potential pitfalls of internet stardom.
Addressing Bradley directly, Wilbroda expressed concern over his excitement and rapid rise to fame. She noted that while Bradley has been basking in the spotlight and rubbing shoulders with celebrities like Terence Creative and Sandra Dacha, he should be wary of the transient nature of fame.
“I want to talk to this young man, Bradley Mtall. This boy is moving too fast. He’s become too excited because of the attention, but he is far from being a celebrity. You will be very shocked at how quickly Kenyans move on. Just before Bradley, there was Kasmuel McOure, who was on every media station, but now he’s fading. Bradley should be careful not to let fame get to his head,” Wilbroda cautioned.
Wilbroda advised Bradley to focus on building a lasting career rather than being caught up in the temporary buzz of internet fame. She emphasized the importance of staying humble and maintaining relationships with those who have supported him.
One major concern Wilbroda raised was Bradley’s reported neglect of his mother since achieving fame. She criticized Bradley for allegedly distancing himself from his family, despite his mother’s past struggles.
“Mama yake amelalamika wkamba Bradley siku hii hashiki simu zake alafu na yeye ansema mamake hakuwa anashika simu yake wakati alikuwa amesota. Na hizi wiki mbili umejulikana na pesa gani hii sasa umetengeneza?” Wilbroda said. She urged Bradley to repair his relationship with his mother, stating, “Kama kuna mahali mama yako alikukosea this is the time ya kumueka karibu and get her blessings.”
Wilbroda warned that Bradley’s current fame might be fleeting and advised him to take his time and avoid being overwhelmed by the excitement. She suggested that by next month, another new sensation might take his place.
Recently, Bradley’s mother made emotional claims about her son abandoning his family since gaining fame. In a local media interview, she expressed her disappointment and hurt, alleging that Bradley had distanced himself from his wife, child, and those who supported him during his rise to success.
