New Cast Members Announced For ‘The Real Housewives Of Nairobi’ Season 2

The highly anticipated second season of The Real Housewives of Nairobi (RHON) is set to return, and Showmax has unveiled the new cast members joining the popular reality show. Fans can look forward to seeing original stars Vera Sidika, Minne Kariuki, and Dr. Catherine Masitsa back on screen, along with three fresh faces who promise to bring even more drama and intrigue.

In a press statement, Showmax revealed that lawyer and professional bodybuilder Farah Esmail, beauty entrepreneur Zena Nyambu, and Reja Keji Ladu, wife of the South Sudanese Minister of Cabinet Affairs, will be joining the cast for season two.

Excitement for the Return

Eugene Mbugua, the show’s executive producer, expressed his excitement about the show’s return. “We’re very excited for the return of The Real Housewives of Nairobi in May,” Mbugua said. “In this new season, we’ll see a return of some familiar faces and a few new additions. We’re very keen to bring out the opulence that Nairobi and Kenya have to offer while maintaining the excitement and intrigue that makes The Real Housewives what it is.”

The new season promises to continue the luxurious and glamorous storylines introduced in season one, which captivated viewers with its lavish parties, stunning homes, and personal drama.

Meet the New Housewives

  • Farah Esmail: A 50-year-old corporate lawyer, professional bodybuilder, and bikini athlete. Farah owns F45 training studio in Nairobi’s Lavington and is a pioneer in Kenya’s fitness scene, winning multiple national championships and international medals.
  • Zena Nyambu: At 41, Zena is a beauty and aesthetics entrepreneur running several businesses, including luxury skincare parlour Glamsquad Kenya and interior design company Art Infinity. She’s also a partner at Zela Aesthetics, a medical wellness centre.
  • Reja Keji Ladu: A 29-year-old mother of two and wife to the South Sudanese Minister of Cabinet Affairs. Reja owns a clothing brand, a catering company, and is soon launching a spa in South Sudan as well as a poultry farm in Nanyuki, Kenya.

A Record-Breaking Show

Season one of The Real Housewives of Nairobi broke streaming records on Showmax, becoming one of the top 10 most-watched shows in Kenya in 2023. The show recently won Best TV Show at the 2024 Kalasha Awards, further cementing its popularity. As the show returns on May 10th, fans can expect more glitz, glam, and drama.
