Legendary Tanzanian rapper and former Mikumi MP Joseph Haule, famously known as Professor Jay, has put to rest false reports of his death that recently circulated on social media. Speaking to Wasafi Media, the iconic rapper expressed shock and frustration over the rumors, which caused concern among fans and loved ones.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Professor Jay has faced such rumors. He voiced his disappointment, highlighting the distress these untrue reports cause his family. Determined to put an end to the misinformation, he revealed plans to pursue legal action against those spreading the falsehoods, ensuring they are held accountable.
Health Scare and Recovery
These rumors follow a significant health scare the rapper endured in February 2022. Professor Jay spent a harrowing 127 days in the ICU, fighting for his life after a serious illness. His recovery involved ten life-saving injections, each costing around Sh600,000. Despite these challenges, the rapper assured fans that he has since made a full recovery and is focusing on his music and future projects.
