In the premiere of Season 2 of her Revolt talk show, Caresha Please, Yung Miami addressed some of the most talked-about issues surrounding her life, including her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs and her former City Girls bandmate, JT.
During the show, which kicked off with her best friend Saucy Santana asking probing questions, Yung Miami discussed her silence on the multiple lawsuits facing Combs, which include accusations of sexual assault and trafficking.
“I can’t speak on something that wasn’t my experience, and I can’t speak on something that I don’t know,” the 30-year-old rapper said. “I wasn’t around at the time… I don’t know that person, and that wasn’t my experience.”
Yung Miami reflected on her relationship with Combs, stating that being linked to him was “on brand” for her.
She noted that when she met Combs in 2021, he was being celebrated and praised publicly. The pair confirmed their relationship in 2022 but eventually split, though they remained in touch until Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie came forward.
Miami clarified that her relationship with Diddy was based on mentorship, emphasizing that he saw potential in her beyond just music.
Regarding her former bandmate JT, Yung Miami admitted that they “outgrew” each other.
She shared that JT had moved to Los Angeles while she remained in Miami. Miami also revealed that she was unaware of JT’s recent debut solo project, City Cinderella. “She’s been working on her stuff. I didn’t know,” Miami said.
Santana also questioned Yung Miami about her absence during the 2022 feud between JT and Cardi B.
Miami explained that she was asleep during the online dispute and only recently became aware of the controversy. “I always come to her defense, but I was actually sleeping during the back-and-forth,” she said.
In a light-hearted moment, Miami joked about being left out of a hit song, referencing Takeoff’s comment about missing out on Migos’ “Bad and Boujee.” She also noted that JT never informed her about being featured on Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl (Remix).”
Caresha Please returns to Revolt this summer. The media company, founded by Combs, saw him step down amid ongoing lawsuits and allegations.
