Surveillance footage has been made public showing a 2020 shooting allegedly involving rapper YFN Lucci.
The video, obtained by WSB-TV, captures a white vehicle driving past a man in a neon shirt who appears to be cleaning his car.
At one point, someone from the vehicle fires a gun. Although Lucci, 33, is not visible in the footage, he is alleged to have been the driver during the incident.
Lucci was initially arrested in connection with the shooting in January 2021 and was later named in a Fulton County RICO indictment.
In January of this year, it was reported that Lucci had reached a plea deal. The release of this surveillance footage comes as Lucci’s potential release approaches, though it may still take several months.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has stated in a letter dated June 11 that her office “does not object” to Lucci being released when eligible for parole or after serving a third of his sentence, “whichever comes first.”

When news of the plea agreement emerged in January, Lucci’s legal team confirmed that he would not be cooperating in any other cases.
They stated: “After three years of pretrial litigation, more than two weeks of jury selection, and three years of incarceration waiting for his jury trial, today, the prosecution finally relented and dismissed the murder and RICO charges against [Lucci].”
Despite expectations that Lucci could be paroled as early as late May, his release has not yet occurred.
