Kanye West, alongside his former chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos, is facing a new lawsuit filed by former employees, as reported by TMZ.
The lawsuit accuses them of subjecting their staff to “forced labor and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment” while developing a music streaming app for West.
The allegations depict a disturbing work environment, with claims of racism and exposure to explicit content.
Employees, including minors, allege that they were forced to work long hours without proper compensation under Yiannopoulos and West’s management.
They assert that racist remarks were used against them and that they were exposed to pornographic material allegedly sent by Bianca Censori, who is associated with West’s adult film venture, Yeezy Porn.
The lawsuit states that Yiannopoulos promised $120,000 to the development team if they completed the app without complaints about their workload.
Employees were reportedly required to sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements), and management allegedly used derogatory terms like “new slaves” towards some staff members.
In response to the lawsuit, West announced the launch of his adult film business in late April, which further complicated the allegations. The staff completed the app in May, but they claim they were never compensated for their work.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages for unpaid wages, overtime pay, and emotional distress caused by their alleged mistreatment during their employment on the YZYVSN app project.
